What a Well-Executed Roof Replacement Actually Includes

A roof replacement is not just the removal of old material and the installation of new. The outcome depends on decisions made before the first shingle is pulled, and on what gets done between tear-off and installation that no one will ever see once the job is finished.

The following is what separates a replacement that holds from one that comes back as a problem:

• A full deck inspection before material goes down – Once the old system comes off, the decking is exposed.
